What’s Your Thoughts On the New Facebook Timeline

It’s been a few weeks since Facebook users have gained access to the new FB Timeline.  What do you think about it? We actually LIKE it! We think, however, we might be among the few who do. Many of the responses we’ve seen posted so far have been negative.  Funny, that always seems to be the response whenever changes are made on this social media site.  I think it is unfortunate that people get so comfortable with technology that they think it should never be updated. I guess they forget the luxury we enjoy comes from the fact that companies were constantly coming up with ways to update and improve their products.

So far we think the new timeline is fresh, sleek, and aesthetically pleasing. We absolutely love the layout and new features especially the cover photo. Out of all of the upgrades Facebook has been doing lately, we would say this is the best one yet.  Of course we’re more concerned about all the privacy issues that have been surfacing like the whole “face-recognition” tagging that is an option now. However, that’s another post and conversation.

Overall, what do you think about the changes and the new timeline from Facebook. We’d like to hear your opinion.
